We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Farm Manager to manage a wean-to-finish pig farm producing plus 100.000 pigs per year. Farm is located in Olt county.   

Main functions and responsibilities include:

• Manage the production activities inside the farm to ensure achievement of production targets;
• Build the team inside the farm, coordinate and manage it;
• Work closely with workers and train them on the job to ensure activities are performed properly and according to Standard Operating Procedures and internal policies;
• Work closely with the production manager to optimize overall farm activity and results;
• Responsible for the overall farm biosecurity program;
• Work closely with relevant departments from the company to ensure smooth activities;
• Implement the Standard Operating Procedure and make sure it’s followed on daily basis;

Requirements

• 5+ years working experience in wean-to-finish pig farm, with proven high-level production results;
• Experience in a leadership position managing teams of workers;
• Hands-on, hard-working individual, willing to lead by example his team;
• Very ambitious individual with strong desire to continuously improve and achieve high level production results;
• Open-minded with good communication skills;
• Structured and disciplined approach, focus on making sure production procedures and basics are followed; 
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package;
